阮庆祥，1940年生于山东肥城，现居北京，当代油画家，并擅长书法创作，高级美术师，空政电视艺术中心正师职退休干部。秉承家传，自幼酷爱绘画。早在中学时代，曾看到了达芬奇的专题片，深受教育，从那以后暗下决心，励志毕生从事美术事业。1964年毕业于上海戏剧学院舞台美术系。毕业后被特招到空军政治部文工团话剧工作、从艺六十年来，在从事舞台美术创作的同时，长期潜心油画和书法的学习与创作，直至当下。

1977年舞台美术创作荣获全军舞美奖，1979年舞美创作获空军文化部艺术二等奖；2004获得了国家计生委宣传画大赛优秀奖；2008年，个人油画作品专辑出版并全国发行；2010年以来，多次应邀参加全国性各种专题书画大赛，连续二十多次荣获金奖。并先后荣获“全球华人二十一世纪最具影响力艺术家”、“国际和平奖”艺术家”、“荣耀中华——中国艺术终身成就奖”、“纪念建国六十五周年十大杰出艺术家”和“中国当代最具收藏价值书画家”等称号。其多幅油画和书法作品均为美国、东南亚、国内团体及个人收藏，现为中国东方文化研究会高级油画研究员，2024年5月因艺术成就显著荣获《共和国勋章·中国功勋模范人物》称号。2024年获意大利《达芬奇国际艺术终身成就奖》同年获荷兰皇家艺朮学院颁发的《芃髙国际艺求终身成就奖》。

Ruan Qingxiang, born in 1940 in Feicheng, Shandong, currently resides in Beijing. He is a contemporary oil painter and skilled in calligraphy creation. He is a senior artist and retired cadre of the Air Administration Television Art Center. Adhering to family tradition, I have had a passion for painting since childhood. As early as middle school, I saw Leonardo da Vinci's feature films and was deeply educated. Since then, I have secretly made up my mind to devote my life to the art industry. Graduated from the Department of Stage Art at Shanghai Theatre Academy in 1964. After graduation, I was specially recruited to work in the drama troupe of the Air Force Political Department. For 60 years, I have been engaged in stage art creation while also dedicating myself to the study and creation of oil painting and calligraphy, until now.

In 1977, the stage art creation won the Military Stage Art Award, and in 1979, the stage art creation won the Second Prize of the Air Force Cultural Department Art Award; In 2004, won the Excellent Award in the National Family Planning Commission Propaganda Poster Competition; In 2008, a personal oil painting album was published and distributed nationwide; Since 2010, I have been invited multiple times to participate in various national themed calligraphy and painting competitions, and have won gold medals for more than 20 consecutive times. And has successively won titles such as "Global Chinese Most Influential Artist of the 21st Century", "International Peace Award" Artist "," Glory to China - Lifetime Achievement Award for Chinese Art "," Top 10 Outstanding Artists in Commemoration of the 65th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China ", and" China's Contemporary Most Collectible Calligraphers and Painters ". Many of his oil paintings and calligraphy works are collected by groups and individuals in the United States, Southeast Asia, and China. He is currently a senior oil painting researcher at the China Oriental Culture Research Association. In May 2024, he was awarded the title of "Medal of the Republic · Chinese Meritorious Model Person" for his outstanding artistic achievements. In 2024, he won the Leonardo da Vinci International Lifetime Achievement Award in Italy and the Penggao International Lifetime Achievement Award from the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts.
